The doctors at Sydney North Neurology are all heavily engaged in research and innovation in the neurological sciences. Holding teaching hospital and university appointments, they are active in medical student and junior doctor training, and have published widely in many reputable internationally peer-reviewed journals.
Particular interests are neurophysiology (axonal nerve excitability in peripheral and central nervous system disorders e.g. MS)/ headache and migraine / sweating disorders / botulinum toxin (Assoc Prof Ng), movement disorders and neurogenetics (Dr Kumar), epilepsy (Dr Farrar), disorders of nerve and muscle (Dr Boland-Freitas, Dr Lee) and headache (Dr Ruaridh Cameron Smail).
